SU122 Woodland, CA

Welcome to SU122 of Woodland, California. We are part of GSHCC (Girl Scouts Heart of Central California), located in Sacramento, California and servicing areas from Modesto through Stockton, and the Sacramento region (18 counties in all).

Our service unit manages troops for Woodland, Knights Landing, Esparto, and Northern Yolo County; providing guidance, activities, and community events.

Our Mission is to guide and support girls and leaders, acting as a liaison to our regional Girl Scout GSHCC Council.

We believe in empowering girls to be their best personal selves through leadership, service, and experiences that foster growth and change through the various stages of development from younger girls who love to craft and do smaller activities and events, to older girls who are looking for a deeper level of social-emotional connection to self, peers, and the world with large scale service, community engagement events, and outdoor adventures.

Girl Scouts organization offers programs and experiences to meet the developmental needs of girls of all ages; building courage, confidence, and character through a LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE MODEL. Does that mean that every girl wants to be the next Oprah, Susan Wojcicki, Marilyn Hewson, Ginni Rometty (CEO’s YouTube, Lockheed Martin, and IBM respectively), or Hillary Clinton? ... No. It means that every girl deserves the opportunity to be fostered toward being a more assertive, confident, self-assured partner and / or mother, member of the community, and participant in any profession or task they take on in life.

Girl Scouts is there for ALL GIRLS, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.
