Troop 4025
Blaine,Washington
Dear Scouts and Parents:
WE would like to introduce Troop 4025 of Blaine, Washington. If you are a second year WEBELO getting ready to Cross Over and earn your Arrow of Light award, you are about to decide where you are going in Scouting. The reason WE are writing to you – to tell you about Troop 4025, and to invite you and your family to come and see US for yourself before you make your decision.
Troop 4025 is a “Boy Run Troop.” This means WE are the leaders, not the adults – WE decide what trips WE are going to take, WE elect OUR leaders, and make OUR own decisions about how the troop is run. The adults are there to make sure everything is safe and to provide guidance; this is very different from CubScouts. WE learn about camping, leadership, and all of the things Boy Scouts have been doing since1910. Also, WE camp year round. WE go on trips such as canoeing, backpacking, winter camping, and summer camp! Most of all, WE have FUN!
WE would like to invite you and your family to visit our meetings, which are held most every Monday night at the Blaine American Legion Hall on Blaine Road from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Please send Mr. Covell an email and he will help figure out a day and time for your visit. WE would also like to also invite you on a campout or a hike with us—so come visit and take a look at OUR calendar to see what might interest you.
Visit with us, and then decide if you want to join a troop that will make you proud to be a Boy Scout. We think Troop 4025 would be a good choice!
Sincerely,
The Boys of Troop 4025
